Students in Years 7 to 10 belong to Wentworth College's Junior School. An extensive and challenging academic curriculum is offered alongside co-curricular activities to enhance skills that will lead to a passion for lifetime learning.

We recognise that each academic year level has distinct developmental needs and our teaching programmes reflect these requirements.

Students are taught by highly qualified and successful teachers who are specialists in their curriculum field. English, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Health and Physical Education, Music, Art, Spanish, and Technology are all core subjects up to Year 9. At Year 10 students have the option to sample further curriculum subjects with the introduction of drama, dance, commerce and greater specialisation in the arts and technology-related subjects.

Throughout our Junior School the use of technology and information access is stressed, whilst ensuring that the key skills of literacy and numeracy are reinforced at all times.

The seamless transition of learning into the Senior School is ensured through the strong foundation given to the students through specialist teaching and pastoral support.
