Wentworth is a very modern school, built in 2002; it features elegant architecture with the latest teaching resources and facilities. Bordering the College is the prestigious Gulf Harbour Country Club golf course, New Zealand’s premier golf course. Across from the school is a large marina, home to some of the most luxurious yachts and launches in New Zealand. The College campus is set in an outstanding location in close proximity to five beautiful swimming beaches. The quiet, safe and peaceful environment is an ideal location for the establishment of a school like Wentworth College.

 

Reputation

Wentworth has already developed an outstanding academic reputation as acknowledged by the Government Ministry of Education audit review. The Review Office highlights the excellent holistic philosophy of the school.

The anticipated College roll for 2010 is 220 students; there are 22 positions available for International students from throughout the world. The eventual full size of the campus will be 650 students. Wentworth College strives to provide a multi-cultural study environment for the students. The school currently has a small number of both Korean and Chinese students who enjoy the wide variety of activities available in New Zealand while developing friendships with their Kiwi classmates.
