Enrolment Procedure
All applicants are required to attend a formal enrolment interview with the Principal at Wentworth College. Interviews are underway now for students planning to enter Wentworth at the commencement of the 2012 academic year and can be organised by phoning the school office on (09)424-3273.
Enrolments are considered when the completed application form and payment of the application fee are received.
Supplementary documentation required to be presented at the interview:
- A copy of the applicant’s latest school report.
- A copy of the applicant’s NZ birth certificate.
- If the applicant was not born in New Zealand, they will need to provide evidence of residence by providing their passport.
- Applicants may include any other additional information that they believe may assist the College in reaching a decision about their application.
Confirmation of Enrolment
Applicants will be notified in writing of the outcome of their enrolment interview. Successful applicants will be offered a placement at Wentworth College on return of the completed
Contract of Enrolment and payment of an enrolment confirmation fee as outlined in the Schedule of Fees information sheet.
Waiting List
Applications from students more than six months in advance of their planned attendance will be placed on the College waiting list. A completed
Application Form and payment of the application fee of $100 is required for placement on the waiting list. The College will contact applicants on the waiting list to set a time for an enrolment interview with the Principal at least 3 months prior to the first day of attendance.
General Conditions: Entry to the School occurs at all entry levels however the main entry years are Year 7 and Year 9.
